Scandinavian Redwood
Our basic chairs are constructed from hand selected redwood. The chairs are built and then treated with Cuprinol wood preservative to extend the life of the chair. They are given two coats of primer and then painted in three coats of your choice of Farrow & Ball colour. Occasionally painting as needed will extend the life of the chairs as will winter storage.

Western red Cedar
The traditional wood for Adirondack chairs. Western Red Cedar is light, strong and incredibly weather resistant. No treatment is necessary and the wood weathers to a silvery finish. We only use imported Canadian cedar.
